RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS RECEIVED
THROUGH JANUARY 15, 2021

QUESTION:

For the proposed roadway ROW’s, are we responsible for bringing the elevations to the
roadway subgrade or is this just going to receive topsoil and seeding for stabilization like
the rest of the disturbed area?

RESPONSE:

The Contractor will not be required to bring the elevations up to the final roadway subgrade. This final grading will be completed under a separate contract. The Contractor is only responsible for filling the site up to the elevations shown on the Embankment Grading Plans of the Contract Drawings. Once the surcharge is completed, the Contractor shall remove the temporary surcharge embankment material and place it in a location outside of the project limits as directed by the Engineer. No fill, topsoil or seeding is required within the project limits after the surcharge material has been removed. The only location where soil stabilization is required will be the final location of the temporary surcharge embankment material.

QUESTION:

I am obtaining bid Documents today for the above mentioned, is there any chance there
will be another site meeting or walk thru? If so I would like to be there for it.

RESPONSE:

Another pre-bid conference/site tour is not scheduled at this time.
