MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, AND FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES

The Jersey City Redevelopment Agency (the “JCRA”) is seeking proposals from qualified
firms (the “Respondent”) to provide Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection
(collectively and as further defined as 808 Pavonia Avenue in the City of Jersey City (the “City”).
The intent of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to select a firm to provide MEP/FP Services.
Proposals and all information required to be submitted pursuant to the RFP shall be
prepared at the sole cost and expense of each individual or firm responding to this RFP (the
“Respondent”). There shall be no claims whatsoever against the JCRA, its officers, officials, or
employees for reimbursement for the payment of costs or expenses incurred in preparing and
submitting a Proposal or for participating in this procurement.
Proposals for MEP/FP Services will be received by, hand delivery, mail, delivery service
and email in accordance with the instructions provided herein up until the date and time
indicated above. The JCRA will not be responsible for packages not arriving at the time and place
designated, irrespective of the date and time the package was mailed, posted, or left with a
delivery service. Respondent assumes any and all risk of late delivery of its Proposal. Emails
received on time and before mail delivery will be accepted as delivered on time. Proposals not
received on time will be returned to Respondent unopened.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING SCHEDULE

 

            Please take notice that on December 16, 2025, the Jersey City Redevelopment Agency (“Agency”) adopted their annual meeting schedule to establish its regular meeting dates from February 2026 through January 2027. This notice is provided in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, and N.J.A.C. 5:39-1, et seq.

 

The regular meetings of the Agency shall be held in the Explorer Middle School located at 180 Ninth Street, Jersey City, New Jersey on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. The meeting dates for the 2026 calendar year and the beginning of 2027 are as follow:

Pursuant to P.L. 2025, c.72 (C.35:3-1 et al.), effective March 1, 2026, all legal notices of the Agency shall be published on the Agency’s official internet website, which shall be accessible and available to the public free of charge, a direct hyperlink to legal notices shall be conspicuously placed on the website’s homepage, and each legal notice shall remain publicly accessible for at least one (1) week, or for such longer period as may be required by law.

The Agency shall maintain an internet archive of all legal notices that are no longer displayed on the Agency’s official internet website, which archive shall be retained for at least (1) year.

A certified copy of this Resolution shall be: i) posted within seven (7) days after the date of adoption in the offices of the Agency located at 4 Jackson Square, Jersey City, New Jersey, and the offices of the City of Jersey City located at 280 Grove Street, Jersey City, New Jersey; ii) published on the Agency’s official internet website; and iii) filed with the Clerk of the City of Jersey City.
